THEATRE - Levels & Planes
Levels refer to height. Putting actors on different levels makes the stage picture more interesting.
Planes refers to
depth.
Arranging actors so that they are on different planes gives the picture
a more 3-dimensional look because the audiences view seems to look
flatter
the further away they are.
